Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--4.2; HindIII--4.2; BglII--4.2; ClaI--uncut; SmaI--4.3. Plasmid to simplify construction of hybrid CAT coding sequences. The ClaI site appears to have been destroyed during cloning.
