ATCC Opens Doors to New High-Tech Biorepository in Gaithersburg, MD

cGMP-compliant facility expands service offerings for clinical, commercial and government clients

ATCC, a global leader in biological materials development, management and standards, is opening its new biorepository at 217 Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg, Md.

Strategically located in the epicenter of Maryland's biotechnology industry, the new cGMP-compliant biorepository is dedicated to the storage, distribution, and management of cell lines and other biomaterials for a wide variety of customers including vaccine, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, clinical laboratories, academic institutions, foundations, and federal agencies.

ATCC offers secure and reliable biomaterials storage and management with temperature-controlled supply chain support, including flexible storage options for clients with small- to large-scale projects, 24/7 temperature monitoring of storage units, and a state-of-the-art inventory management system that currently manages over 23 million samples.
