Stability of Norovirus and West Nile standards

ATCC recommends that the synthetic Norovirus (ATCC VR-3199SD and VR-3200SD)and West Nile virus RNAs (ATCC VR-3198SD) be stored at 8oC or colder but ships them on dry ice. Are there any stability problems if these are stored at 8oC rather than -80oC?

Accelerated stability studies at 45oC have been performed on these samples and no degradation was observed.
